Our Core Objectives
Our core objectives are to reorganize South Sudan into the three historic regions of Upper Nile, Bahr el Ghazal, and Equatoria with meaningful autonomy, under a lean, transparent federal government that handles defense, foreign affairs, monetary policy, and inter-regional coordination while regional governments retain 70% of local resources for development, contribute 20% to federal functions, and dedicate 10% to an Equalization Fund for less-developed areas.
This federal design will be anchored in constitutional and institutional reforms that protect human rights, uphold the rule of law, ensure equitable representation, and embed a rotational presidency among the three regions to deepen inclusivity, equity, and national cohesion. Alongside this, we will foster inter-regional cooperation and reconciliation through cultural exchange, truth-telling, and restorative justice, promote women’s and youth participation at all levels of governance and movement leadership, and encourage economic diversification and sustainable resource management to move beyond oil dependency and build resilient local economies.
