Our Core Objectives
The core objectives of the PRF are:
To establish a free and federal democratic system based on three autonomous regions, namely Upper Nile, Bahr Ghazal, and Equatoria regions.
To eradicate the entrenched corruption and culture impunity.

To restore the social fabric and greatness of the South Sudanese People which
has been destroyed by the SPLM regime.
To build a sustainable unity and national cohesion.

The Core Values of the PRF are:

Our Core Values
Our Fight
The PRM is dedicated to freeing South Sudan from tyranny and establishing a democratic state based on justice, federalism, and people-driven governance. Through this strategy, we invite citizens, the region, and the world to join us in building a new South Sudan where every life matters, and the future belongs to the people. The PRF’s use of force will be deliberate, defensive, and a last resort, based on the inalienable right of the people to oppose tyranny. It will be used not to destroy but to liberate and restore hope, always recognizing the sacred duty to protect the people of South Sudan. The People’s Resistance Front calls upon all citizens of South Sudan across tribes, faiths, and regions to unite in reimagining and rebuilding a country that reflects the will of its people, where autonomy, justice, and mutual respect form the foundation of national unity.

Faces and moments from the heart of our resistance.
Our Struggle
Driven by South Sudanese's courage and resolve, PRF’s military intervention is strictly defensive and protective in nature, aimed at shielding civilians and defending the people’s right to life, dignity, and justice, not at seizing power by force. It entails disciplined, principled use of armed struggle to protect communities from mass atrocities, state‑sponsored violence, and grave abuses when all peaceful and political avenues have been exhausted and brutally closed. Our resort to force is a last option, clearly justified by imminent and ongoing attacks against civilians, guided by international humanitarian law, accountable command structures, and a clear political objective of restoring rights, justice, and democratic governance.

Mobilizing our youth to resist the failed regime, reclaim our country and build their future
Hon. Gabriel Changson Chang is considered one of the founding fathers of South Sudan’s independence, demonstrating his significant contribution to the country’s history and development. His career exemplifies “technocratic excellence” fused with patriotic vision. Across seven ministries, his "footprints" share common traits: institutional modernization, anti-corruption safeguards, youth investment, and global partnerships. Dubbed a "national treasure" and "cornerstone of South Sudan's development," his legacy transcends portfolios; it lies in demonstrating that integrity and competence can transform governance even in fragile states. As South Sudan navigates its federal future, Changson's steadfast commitment to systems over personalities remains his most vital contribution to nationhood.
Born January 1952 in Nasir, Upper Nile State, Changson is a veteran banker with more than 25 years at the Central Bank of Sudan and Ivory Bank, he chairs the Federal Democratic Party and has been a leading figure in the South Sudan Opposition Alliance, often described as one of the prominent architects of South Sudan’s independence and a key voice on governance, peace, and economic reform.
